Four mixed palettes sit at the end of the palette row, in two pairs. Each pair takes the header plane from one palette and the type from the other; they differ only in the wordmark sitting on that plane — dark mark paints it a deep tint, teal mark and orange mark paint it the colour itself. A mixed chip carries two colours: the plane on the left, the type on the right.

Football, Friendship and Fun each take one colour from the palette, in that order, and the rule above them runs in the same sequence. The words carry the meaning — the stripe just echoes them.
Header plane and type colour are separate tokens now, so Inferno can hold the header while teal does the type. The only place they collide is the wordmark sitting on the plane — header A, and header C on Gradient. Teal on Inferno orange measures about 1.3:1, and orange on teal is the same, because the two colours are nearly equal in brightness. Dark mark drops that wordmark to the deepest tint of the type colour and clears 5.9:1. Teal mark and orange mark leave it at full strength, which is what was asked for and what the eye should judge. Everywhere else — the JIFL wordmark on header C, the countdown, the leader’s points, the tagline — the type sits on the dark ground and is the full colour in all four.
The whole thing runs on tokens, which is why this picker works at all. Swapping a palette later is one file, not a rebuild.
DoIT is navy and yellow, rounded cards, editorial voice. JIFL is flat planes, hard rules, full-bleed header, no voice. The two shouldn’t look like the same product.
